It takes a Village to educate and support our kids, and YOU are the key to our success.
We are looking for volunteers to help with the following programs:
BOOK FAIR, OCTOBER 9-12
RED RIBBON WEEK, OCTOBER 16-20
FALL FESTIVAL, SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5 10:00AM-2:00PM
This community favorite event is a lot of fun, but also requires a lot of planning before the event and DOING at the event. No task is too little!

BOOK EXCHANGE -
A great way to expand your child’s library for FREE! This is a 2 week event that is a fantastic way to increase your child’s library to encourage reading! The first week, children drop gently used books from their own library that they no longer want. They are given vouchers (based on the number of books they donated) to be redeemed the following week. If you donated 10 books, you get 10 new lightly-used books in return.
JOG-A-THON -
Each spring, this school wide event put on by The Village gets the kids pumped to be a Panther and supports their in school enrichment programs! We will need lots of support for this one day event! It’s a fun event for both the kids and the volunteers. Show your Panther Pride!

Let your TALENT SHINE! This is a fun-filled evening for everyone as students showcase their talents!
STAFF APPRECIATION - We love our PDL Staff! The first week in May is Staff Appreciation Week! Each day, a fun activity/treat is planned for the kids to benefit the PDL staff. It’s a fun way to say, “THANK YOU!”
FAMILY MOVIE NIGHTS -
A great community event for all to enjoy! We’ll be hosting an outdoor movie at PDL complete with popcorn and concessions! Help make this new event a HIT!
PANTHER FAMILY CAMP OUT -
Grab your tents and set up in the Park Dale Lane Lawn for a fun night under the stars! Help make this first time event one to remember!
K.I.S.S (KIDS INVITE SOMEONE SPECIAL) FOR MOTHER'S DAY
Happy Mother’s Day! In honor of our special ladies, the PTA will have a special breakfast before school (usually organized by a group of male caregivers. You’ll serve muffins, fruit, coffee and juice to kids and their special guests before school starts from 7am to 8am.

Happy Father’s Day! Every June we have an enjoyable breakfast of donuts, fruit, juice and a hot cup of joe! kiddos bring a special guest to enjoy this fun event. 7am to 8am.
SIXTH GRADE PROMOTION -
Calling All 5th Grade Parents! As spring rolls around, the parents of the 5th grade class organize the promotion ceremony for the 6th grade class. This allows the 6th graders and their parents to fully enjoy the festivities!
EVENT SIGN MAKERS - As you can see, we have plenty of events that are held at PDL and how can we make students and families aware of all these events? SIGNS!!! You can make them at home or at school – whatever is more convenient for you! You can take paints and paper home and get creative at home!
HELPING HANDS -
Are you looking for a way to volunteer, but you’re limited on time? We always have small jobs that need attention from home or that can be done quickly at school. We can contact you from time to time to check-in if you’re available for small “odd-jobs”
WINTER WONDERLAND, FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15 -
PANTHER YEARBOOK - Every year our Yearbook Team puts together fun, bright and memorable yearbooks for the kids. This is a great way to give something back to the kids that will literally last a lifetime!
GARDENS - Assist with the Maintenance of PDL classroom gardens and help with coordinating the parent volunteers.
